Norma Ford

Norma Ford, a native of Syracuse, New York, and present director of Post Road Chorus, became a member
of Sweet Adeline's International 31 years ago, having previously sung in choruses and choirs through high
school and college. Several years prior to joining Post Road Chorus as a tenor in 1997, Norma earned her
Director Certification from Sweet Adeline's International.
Before accepting the position of Post Road's music director, Norma, throughout her many years of musical
involvement, has served within her choruses as front line director, assistant director, interim director, chorus
section leader, and music chair. She also arranges music.
On the administrative side, throughout her 31 years in the organization, she has served over time within
her choruses in the roles of President, Vice president, Secretary, and By-laws & rules chairperson.
Norma takes great pleasure in serving as Director of Post Road. This, along with the bonds of camaraderie
she finds there, brings her joy.
